Rev. Ramana Lailah Heyman, Director

An amazing new center has opened in the charming small city of Winchester. A place in the middle of town, but far removed from the routines of daily life. Orchard Hill Healing Center is a place to retreat and is dedicated to healing the mind, body, and spirit. Nestled on two beautifully landscaped acres you will find a unique home for well-being. CranioSacral, Massage Therapy, Reike, Laughter Yoga, and other healing modalities are all within your reach at Orchard Hill Healing Center.

Special classes for your delight and discovery of your higher self will also be featured, including movement classes, drumming sessions, and meditation circles.

A Healing Center from the very beginning...

Ramana Lailah Heyman fondly recalls the very first time she saw the present day Orchard Hill Healing Center. Her family moved to the property in 1985. "I could feel the energy here from the very beginning; I knew this was a truly special place and I sensed that a great deal of healing would take place here."

Since she moved to the large white house on the hill, once on over five acres with a driveway that stretched all the way down to Valley Avenue, she has been facilitating change for the better in people from all walks of life. "So many people feel peace just being here, on our property," she says.

Originally the estate was known as Orchard Hill, most likely the site of a once prosperous apple orchard. Later, when the land surrounding Orchard Hill became developed, the lane that led to Orchard Hill became known by its present name of Daniel Terrace. Along with this change, about three acres of land were lost to development. Yet, Orchard Hill retained its dignity despite the many new developments that had sprung up around it.

Ramana always made sure the property maintained a sense of privacy. Today, the lush grounds feel far removed from the hustle and bustle below. Every corner is beautifully landscaped and there are many gardens, including organic herb and vegetable gardens. The two acres are full of her many ongoing projects. There is a consistent goal in mind: to bring about healing. She has also been an ordained minister in The Church of All for the past thirty years.

The Church of All and of all churches, as named by Pir-o-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan, honors and respects all religions, masters, saints and prophets, and all the holy scriptures. She conducts weddings, house blessings, receptions of infants, and memorial services. The home has also seen Ramana's successful Montessori school, which was open for many years. Later, in 2000, after she decided to retire from her long-time Winchester storefront, the highly diverse Olde Towne Healing Arts Center, she returned full-time to Orchard Hill. She hones her many crafts including CranioSacral (SomatoEmotional Release) therapy, Certified Massage therapy, and various other holistic modalities at the present day Orchard Hill Healing Center.

Her work as a healer includes the integration of a thirty year study in Hatha Yoga, meditation, Homeopathy, nutrition, Reiki and other alternative healing disciplines. In 2007, she attended the School of Laughter Yoga in New York City, NY, where she became a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader.

Many of the above disciplines feature their own distinct classes at Orchard Hill Healing Center. Some other interesting classes have included Drumming, Sacred Feminine Dance, Meditation, the interior design art of Feng Shui, and "many more to come over the years," she promises.

Orchard Hill Healing Center, with its wide variety of offerings, is truly unique to the area. New visitors and loyal friends of the Center, of all ages and backgrounds, tend to leave feeling refreshed, wiser, and more balanced: physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Ramana welcomes all to visit Orchard Hill Healing Center to experience the healing that has taken place here for the past twenty five years.
